The key to the success of any project is the right personnel.  SCDIT has a highly trained staff of seasoned project managers, dedicated installers and a helpful administrative staff. There is always a single point of contact dedicated to your project that is available to answer questions, report status, modify project plans, or address concerns for any site.

SCDIT will maintain education through classes and seminars in order to keep up to date standards for the emerging technologies as they evolve. SCDIT focuses on several key aspects in providing a seamless, quality installation for our customers.  First is gaining a clear understanding of the customer requirements, offering technical assistance, and producing a clear and concise bid response. 

Often a site survey is performed in order to verify physical site characteristics, existing communications infrastructure, environmental and safety considerations, specific customer needs, and implementation requirements such as local contacts, scheduling, and installation restrictions.  This data is then recorded in an electric format to be utilized in project planning and implementation. 

Upon completion of a project SCDIT provides wide range of documentation suited to fit the needs of the customer and end users.  A Site Sign Off Sheet is utilized for every project to ensure quality and adherence to installation procedures and end user satisfaction.  SCDIT also provides a Cable Run Sheet, which indicates cable ID’s, locations, utilization, testing results, user, and termination information.  CAD sBuilts and layouts can be produced by a dedicated staff of professionals. In areas outside our Mid-Atlantic service area SCD maintains an extensive database of pre-qualified and certified subcontractors and local associates located throughout the U.S. Canada and Mexico. Included in this database are such things as rates, local codes and ordinances, union or labor requirements, certifications, past performance and quality control. All of our installation crews come prepared with the appropriate tools, materials, and installation guidelines necessary for a complete, qualified installation. SCD performs regular customer satisfaction and quality audits.
