We always like to get started by having a "network evaluation visit" for both you and us to get to know your network. Pricing for this visit depends on the size of your network. After we've
assessed your current setup, it will give us a much better starting place when finding the perfect IT solution for your organization. Here is a detailed chart outlining our IT Service Plan options.

• Managed Services - Managted remotely via client/server software
• Proactive - Preventative, on-site and pre-scheduled monthly support
• Retainer - A block of time drawn against over one year
• Mission Critical Machines - High level, essential-staff machines
• Reactive - The customer identifies a problem, then contacts SCD
• All additional projects requested are billed at your contracted hourly rate
• Prices subject to change at contract renewal based on fair market value

** - Travel Charge - Half hour increments of hourly rate, 1/2 hour minimum, determined by Google Maps and travel/traffic patterns
*** - SCD is not responsible for your data. Please back up your files via local (External Hard-drive, Server) and remote (Mozy, or other online solution) methods. Again, you are solely responsible for backing up your data. We will gladly offer advice and give you a recommendation along with help in the facilitation.

1. Unlimited Help Desk Support
Our Help Desk is available during normal business hours, ready to answer your questions and provide real solutions for
your computer or server troubles. You are free to call as often as needed with our unlimited Help Desk solution.
2. Microsoft Patches and Updates
Microsoft Patch Assessments are scheduled weekly. The Data Center compares patches already deployed to the desktop
with patches available from Microsoft. For the next five days, SCD will attempt to deploy the missing patches based on
your configured schedule.
3. Event Log Management
SCD provides enterprise class Windows server monitoring and automated event log management solutions for more
productivity and efficiency in you network and server environments.
4. Monthly Reporting
Data gathered by weekly scans is processed by the Data Center and produced as a monthly report. SCD also provides
Executive Reports: On-Demand Executive (upon request), and Monthly Maintenance Report (detailed).
5. Antivirus Monitoring
SCD provides antivirus software monitoring and detection. Every four hours SCD performs a check to see if definitions
are updated. Alerts are sent if definitions fall three days behind. SCD is also able to detect if antivirus software is
installed for a majority of antivirus software packages.
6. Disk Defragmentation
Fragmentation occurs when the operating system cannot or will not allocate enough contiguous space to store a
complete file as a unit, but instead puts parts of it in gaps between other files (usually those gaps exist because they
formerly held a file that the operating system has subsequently deleted or because the operating system allocated
excess space for the file in the first place). SCD continuously looks at these files and defrags when the drive get above
10% fragmented.
7. Temporary File Clean Up
SCD performs weekly scheduled temp file removal. If left unchecked these folders can grow and cause low disk space
errors or affect the paging file causing the computer to run slow.
8. Drive Space Management
SCD checks each logical disk on the Desktop to assure there are more than 200 free megabytes available.
9. Malicious Application Blacklisting
Blacklisting applications that are known to host malware, is an easy way to discovery and eliminate malware in your
organization’s network. It will prevent users from installing and compromising information on your network.
10. Spyware Scanning / Monitoring
Spyware scanning is a separate, optional component to SCD. Partners can elect to enable anti-spyware scans when
Sites are created or anytime afterwards in Anti-spyware Configuration. Some Partners have elected to use Sunbelt’s
CounterSpy software in place of or to augment Spybot.
11. User Account Management
We will manage users and user access to the network.
12. Backup Managing and Monitoring
Scans are scheduled to run weekly to capture hardware, software, and operating system settings from user’s
desktops. This data is reported back to SCD’s data center in Ellicott City, Maryland and is available to the user as
requested reports.
13. S.M.A.R.T. Analysis
Smart stands for Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology. SCD is able to capture information provided by
S.M.A.R.T. hard drives. Alerts are vendor specific and usually report precursors to hardware failure.
